Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2026 | Last updated: August 2026
Amarik IT Solutions (“Amarik”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through amarikit.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
If you only want the short version: we collect what you send us through our contact and careers forms, plus basic technical data needed to run the site securely. We do not sell personal information.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Amarik IT Solutions is the controller of personal information collected through this website.
- Address: 109 N Beaumont Ave, Kissimmee, FL 34741, USA
- Email: info@amarikit.com
- Phone: +1 (512) 987-1954
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, company name, the service area you select, and the content of your message.
- Careers form: your full name, email address, phone number, and any CV or resume file you upload. These documents frequently contain further personal information — employment history, education, and sometimes home address. Please do not include information you would rather not share, such as date of birth, national identifiers, or health information.
- Direct contact: anything you send us by email, telephone, or WhatsApp.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and pages viewed.
- Server logs generated by our hosting provider for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and similar technologies as described in section 4.
2.3 What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government identifiers, biometric data, or precise geolocation through this website. We do not ask for special category data, and you should not submit it through our forms.
3. How we use your information, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK/EU) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and providing requested information | Steps prior to entering a contract; legitimate interests |
| Assessing job applications and communicating with candidates | Steps prior to entering a contract; legitimate interests |
| Delivering and supporting services under an agreement | Performance of a contract |
| Securing the website and preventing abuse or spam | Legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal, tax, and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses a small number of cookies and local storage entries:
- Strictly necessary: WordPress session and security cookies, and form anti-spam protection. These are required for the site to work.
- Performance: our caching layer (LiteSpeed Cache) may store a cookie to serve the correct cached version of a page.
- Functional: the WhatsApp click-to-chat button stores a local preference. Selecting it opens WhatsApp, at which point WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font network, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a font provider. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting site function.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share limited information with service providers who process it on our instructions:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Hostinger, which hosts this website and stores form submissions and uploaded files.
- Email delivery: our mail provider, which transmits form notifications to our team.
- Professional advisers: where necessary for legal, accounting, or insurance purposes.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to establish or defend legal claims. If our business is sold or reorganised, information may transfer to the acquiring entity, subject to this policy.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months from last contact.
- Client records: for the life of the engagement plus 7 years, to meet contractual, tax, and professional obligations.
- Unsuccessful job applications, including CVs: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them on file for future roles or to delete them sooner.
- Server and security logs: typically up to 12 months.
When a retention period ends, we delete the information or irreversibly anonymise it.
7. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored outside the publicly browsable area of the site, with script execution disabled and search engine indexing blocked for that directory. Access to submissions is limited to people who need it. Administrative accounts are individually assigned.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant regulator within the required timeframe.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our hosting infrastructure may process data in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, your information will be transferred outside your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.
9. Your rights
9.1 If you are in the UK or EEA
You have the right to access your personal data; to correct inaccurate data; to request erasure; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9.2 If you are a US state resident
Depending on your state of residence — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, to request correction, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
9.3 How to exercise your rights
Email info@amarikit.com with the subject line “Privacy request”, telling us what you would like us to do. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days (or one month in the UK/EEA), and will tell you if we need more time. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting, and will use that information only for verification. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.
10. Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites, including our LinkedIn profile. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will revise the “last updated” date above, and where changes are significant we will provide a more prominent notice.
